ABSTRACT
This article is aimed at assessing the attitudes and characteristics of students’ use of Internet resources for charitable activities. Modern society is considered as informational - fully permeated with information and communication processes, implemented not only in real but also in a virtual environment. The article investigates the development of charity in the modern information society. The aim of the research is to study the attitude of students to Internet resources as a tool for the development of charity in Russia. The research methods is the analysis based on the use of methods of content analysis and General scientific empirical research methods to identify the characteristics of students’ attitude to the Internet resources of charitable subjects. The article considers the concept of charity as a process aimed at changing, improving the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of charitable activities. It is established that the qualitative characteristics of charitable activities are sincerity and targeting of assistance; perception of the concept of charity; quantitative characteristics of charity are the activity of charitable assistance (the volume of its implementation); coverage of those in need of charitable assistance; frequency of charitable assistance (how often a person provides assistance). The results of the evaluation of students’ attitude to the Internet resources of charitable subjects shows that at the moment the Internet resources of charitable subjects only half correspond to the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of the development of charitable activities, but in solving certain problems, this coverage can be absolute, which allows us to consider Internet resources as possible tools for the development of charitable activities. The necessity of creating an emotional component in the process of expressing gratitude to the benefactor is revealed (the Internet resource should always personally thank the user for the assistance provided; Internet resources are offered to focus more on the targeting and efficiency of assistance). The novelty and originality of the study lies in the fact that the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of charitable assistance are determined. The features of the attitude of students to the Internet resources of charitable subjects are revealed. The analysis revealed that the main problem of using Internet resources for charity was the distrust of Internet users. The principles for work of Internet resources of charitable subjects in work with philanthropists are defined: the principle of targeting, which means that the activity of the Internet resource is aimed at assisting a certain category of people in need; the principle of efficiency in the activities of Internet resources should mean that the administration of user interaction should be carried out as quickly as possible.

ABSTRACT
The article considers one of the new social phenomena that have arisen in society, and is currently changing everyday social practices, which are one of the integral parts of the new media - computer games. The problem of the study is conditioned by the fact that computer games are gaining popularity, while increasingly influencing players, changing their established way of life, behaviors, forming new styles of communication and attitude to the surrounding reality. The activation of interest in the process of everyday social practices arose due to the shift of value orientations in the structure of students’ lifestyle. The aim of the study is to analyze the impact of computer games on everyday social practices of students-gamers. The leading methods for the study of this problem is the interview method, which allows revealing more fully and multifaceted impact of computer games on everyday social practices of students-gamers. It was found that the main characteristics of the gamer are: the ability to appreciate the game; the ability to play a lot of fun, not to chase the game awards; to see in the games something of great importance; to know a lot about different games; to be able to play well and understand the game. It is shown that computer games do not generate subcultures, but only try to unite people and teach them to work together in a team. Gamers arrange events for any particular game they play. Such meetings are most often of a competitive nature. Students gamers note the following skills that they acquire through the games: meeting new people; learning English; improving communication skills; interesting stories; historical moments; military Affairs (weapons, equipment, military battles, etc.); myths and legends of different world cultures. The practical significance lies in the fact that the data obtained in the work can be used in social psychology, age psychology, psychology of work, sociology, as well as for further theoretical development of this issue.

ABSTRACT
The relevance of this article is conditioned by the need to analyze and study the student views and positions on the issue of intercultural communication and intercultural interaction, as it is obvious that in the foreseeable future we will continue to live in a multi-ethnic, multicultural society and strive for the successful coexistence of many different cultures in social networks. The aim of the study is to identify the attitude of students communicating in social networks to ethnocentrism. The leading methods for the study of this problem are the methods of questioning and testing, allowing making a qualitative analysis of the peculiarities of the attitude of students communicating in social networks, to ethnocentrism, and allowing identifying the position of students on the issue of intercultural communication and intercultural interaction. The article reveals the criteria peculiar to the representatives of different ethnic groups with a high level of ethnocentrism. These students consider everything that happens in their culture to be natural and correct, and in others to be wrong; consider the customs of their group as universal: “what is good for us is good for others”; consider the norms, roles and values of their group to be absolutely correct; act so that the representatives of their group feel like winners; feel hostility towards external groups. It is determined that the presence of a set of these criteria and properties (or most of them) in the ethnic consciousness of the individual, allows us to talk about a high level of ethnocentrism. The novelty and originality of the study lies in the fact that a set of criteria characterizing the opinion of students, supporters of cultural relativism is revealed: they are often in contact with representatives of other ethnic groups and nationalities in social networks; absolutely do not feel discomfort in communicating with foreign cultural representatives, on the contrary, such communication is of great interest; in the formation of any group do not give preference to representatives of their own people, and are guided by other selection criteria; do not regard the culture of their people as a role model for other Nations. A set of criteria is identified for supporters of ethnocentrism: they believe everything that happens in their culture, natural and correct and others wrong; consider the customs of their group as universal; consider the norms, roles and values of their group is certainly correct; feel hostility towards external groups; in General, are rarely in contact with the representatives of other ethnic groups and nationalities; feel discomfort in communicating with other cultures representatives; believe that the loss of identity of their ethnic group is an unambiguously negative phenomenon; they do not consider the cultures of all peoples equally important and equal.

ABSTRACT
The present study explores the uses of WhatsApp groups in the education context. It examines utilities and burdens associated with educational WhatsApp groups. The study also explores how the presence of teachers in the groups can influence the group functioning. In the first study chats of four WhatsApp groups of one year, where two groups were included teacher and two groups were without teachers, were analyzed. In the second study, interviews were conducted with two participants from each group, a total of eight participants. The results of the studies show that the major functions these groups serve are mostly education-related. However, apart from academic uses, students do use this platform for wishing/congratulations, for extra curriculum activities as well as for entertainment purposes. In addition, the results show that the presence of the teacher influences the group conversation significantly. Though students reported that sometimes these WhatsApp groups become burden and take a lot of time, but they also believe that is unavoidable, since these WhatsApp groups not only provide them important information related to class, exam, holidays, etc., but members are also able to connect with others and involve in non-academic activities.

ABSTRACT
The article aims to study the practices of students’ use of services in the conditions of digitalization. The leading methods for the study of this problem are the methods of questioning and testing, allowing to make a qualitative analysis of student consumption practices in the conditions of digitization of services. These methods allowed revealing the peculiarities of online consumption practices by students. The authors found that the majority of students who are not actively using online services, to some extent had experience using online services, but almost every tenth of them had negative result. It is established that students are distrustful of new methods to obtain services, especially when it comes to any operations related to money. It is shown that students who do not practice online services have a feeling that the provided online services are of poor quality, and informants are ready to experience some discomfort in exchange for the usual, guaranteed and high quality, in their opinion, service. In addition, students who are not actively using online services note that it is not easy for them to adapt to new technologically advanced things, but the rest of the students believe that they can adapt to innovations, but the way of providing services that is now perceived as traditional one is the most acceptable for them. It is established that the leader in the use of online services is a taxi. This service is used by all students to some extent, followed by the service of food delivery and only then online banking, online shopping and public services. The novelty and originality of the study lies in the fact that the features of consumption practices among students actively practicing online services and avoiding them are revealed. It is established that students who have little recourse to online services are wary of modern services, which is based either on the previous negative experience of use, or on the unsatisfactory experience of friends, believe that those techniques and applications that are now on the market are not optimal for them and the usual methods of obtaining services for them remain more comfortable and familiar, even though more time spent on obtaining a particular service. The practical significance lies in the fact that the data obtained in the work can be used in social psychology, age psychology, labor psychology, management, sociology, as well as for further theoretical development of this issue.

ABSTRACT
The aim of the study is to assess the extent to which WhatsApp Instant Messaging is used to teach chemistry and biology to the tenth-grade students. A mixed approach was used, whereby the authors drew on the content analysis model to analyze quantitative data. The sample consisted of 28 Palestinian tenth-grade students and their teachers, who used WhatsApp Instant Messaging for four months (the Spring semester of 2019). The collected data was divided into four categories: the nature of the message (instructional, organizational, or social); the form of the message (texts, pictures/graphs, voice recordings, videos, or link-sharing); the direction of communication flow (from a teacher to a student, from a student to a teacher, from a student to a student, or from a teacher to a teacher); and knowledge exchange. Our findings suggest that WhatsApp is used more for non-instructional purposes– particularly socialization– yet the portion of instruction-related messages was somehow enough to predict more effective future use of the application for teaching/learning purposes.

ABSTRACT
This study focuses on the relationship among Content Knowledge (CK), Pedagogic Knowledge (PK), and Technological Knowledge (TK) using Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK). The aim of the study is to use the determined relationship to provide mathematical clarity using the Rough Set Theory, which is commonly used in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Reduction, Determination of Dependencies, Estimation of Data Importance and the establishment of Decision (control) Algorithms. Accordingly, TPACK scale was applied to 340 preservice teachers who, at the time of conducting this study, were continuing their teaching at elementary (grade 5-8) and secondary (grade 9-12) Mathematics Teaching Department. The gathered data was broken into three different groups - low, medium and high. The data grouping allowed for applying of the Rough Set Analysis. This will enable TPACK constructs to assign prospective teachers to any of the three identified groups. Analysis has put forth that the CK, PK and TK components explain TPACK with a dependency degree of 0.105 and that even though the levels of significance of each component is low by itself, it cannot be removed from the data set. Lastly, decision rules have been established between CK, PK and TK with TPACK.

ABSTRACT
The study investigated teachers’ perception and factors limiting the use of high-tech assistive technologies resources in special education schools in North-West Nigeria. The study adopted a descriptive survey design using a questionnaire to sought data from 120 respondents who were drawn using a multi-stage sampling technique from special education schools within the region. Three research questions were raised to guide the study. The questionnaire was subjected to expert validation and reliability was established through a pilot study using 20 teachers from two special education schools within the study area, but not part of the sampled schools. The reliability coefficient of 0.81 was obtained for the questionnaire using the Cronbach Alpha formula. The data collected were analyzed using percentage, mean and standard deviation. Findings revealed that teachers do not use high-tech assistive devices regularly to teach students with physical disabilities. However, teachers perceived positively that there are great benefits to the use of these resources. It was recommended among others that both government and other stakeholders should organize workshop, seminars and other capacity building training regularly for teachers as means of updating their knowledge and skills in the use of assistive devices considering the dynamic nature of special education technology.

ABSTRACT
YouTube is one of the social media tools that have become a part of our lives. It is used by many educators as a pedagogical instrument. To determine the perceptions and views students about YouTube can support the effective use of YouTube. For this purpose, metaphors and opinions of secondary school students about YouTube were tried to be determined. In this study, a phenomenological study have been used. Students’ expressions about metaphors and their reasons were coded with free coding and then categories and themes were created. Also, questionnaires were analyzed according to frequency. According to the research results, YouTube has been associated with a technological tool at the highest frequency. In reasons part, YouTube is shown as “everything” at most. Students often use YouTube. YouTube channels related to daily life, online games and entertainment are more followed. Participants want to use YouTube for educational purposes. Few students want to be YouTuber. Many families do not control the time and content of their children on YouTube. School and teacher need to be able to develop activities regarding effective usage of YouTube in the pedagogical context. Besides this, all partners should be informed and participate in training for digital harmony.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to compare how face-to-face instruction and flipped learning differed in terms of student achievement in seventh grade science classes, as well as to assess how students who were in the flipped classroom felt about their experiences. A total of 81 students received face-to-face instruction, and 73 received flipped instruction. All students completed pre- and post-assessments. Additionally, students in the flipped classroom completed a survey to assess perceptions of their experiences with the flipped model. Analysis of variance results showed no differences in performance between the two groups of students. There were also no interactions between instructional method with both gender and ability. The student survey data showed that the majority of students enjoyed the flipped model. Large percentages of students reported increased engagement and motivation under the flipped model. In conclusion, we found that flipped instruction was as effective as face-to-face instruction.
